Discontinuing Classes at MCDC:
If a student wishes to discontinue classes at MCDC, notification must be given to the instructor or MCDC staff at least 7 days before the next billing cycle (the 1st of the month).
Notice: Failure to provide 7 days' notice will result in being charged for the following month.
No Refunds: Fees are non-refundable once payment has been made, and there will be no reimbursement for classes no longer attended.
Photography and Liability Waiver:
Parents and guardians should be aware that photos and/or videos may be taken during classes and performances, and these may be shared on MCDC’s social media or website. Please note that practice videos will never be shared publicly.
MCDC and its staff are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during classes or events. While personal insurance is recommended, it is not required. Parents and guardians wishing to provide backstage support must pass a background check before being allowed access to the performance area.
How information is passed out, shared, and received outside of in class, flyers and on the boards:
Checking your Facebook group/ emails at least once a week- we send out updates, music, movements, etc. It is the responsibility of Student/Family to ensure they follow up with any information that was given during any missed classes.
Practice is the KEY to the growth of each student. We ask that they review their practice videos on our “MCDC Parent Page” and run through it at least 4 times a day. Also, it is best to stretch out every day. (Once in the morning and at night)
Inclusive Teaching for All Abilities at MCDC
At MCDC, we believe that dance, music, and singing are for everyone, regardless of ability. All of our instructors are trained and dedicated to working with students of all backgrounds and abilities. We understand that every individual is unique, and we create a supportive, welcoming environment where everyone feels empowered to explore and express themselves through the arts. Whether a student is new to the arts or has special needs, we are committed to adapting our classes to meet their needs and ensure they have the best experience possible. Our goal is to make sure that every student—regardless of ability—feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Everyone can dance, play music, and sing, and we’re here to guide and nurture each student’s journey, fostering confidence, creativity, and joy in every step of the way.
Floor Rules:
-
Only bottled water is allowed
-
Hair needs to be kept out of the dancer’s face Please be respectful of others and keep talking to a minimum (This includes family who is watching the class)

Shows and Recitals:
-
MCDC will do a lot of shows in the community. This will help students learn how to behave in front of viewers, how to be on stage, in front of cameras, in the dressing rooms, back stage, etc.
-
Every stage is different, and we would like to make your student well around in being able to adapt to anything.
-
Only students who are potty-trained can be in a recital, but all students can be in community shows
-
Students must be up to date on payments in order to be in recitals and attend all practices.
-
Backstage moms need to be background checked before they are able to be backstage. Please see the front desk for more information.
